How to make marzipan

Last fall, we had a "bad" almond harvest. It wasn't worth taking the almonds we got to the Cooperativa to sell; however, we were still left with big bags full of almonds. We gave some away, ate a few, put almonds into food as much as we could, a lot were eaten by guests - but this summer there's still a lot left, and with a new almond harvest coming up (in September-October), it was time to do something with it. First we made Amaretto... then we tried Marzipan.
